Peter, Teri, and Casey make up the “3” in BAD GRAMM3R.
The company was founded by Peter Zell in 2016. Peter and his family have resided in Alaska since the early 70s and the Mat-Su Borough for over 45 years. Peter came to Alaska to work on the Trans-Alaska Pipeline. The Zell family loves Southcentral Alaska and they love the cannabis community, and are happy to have called the Mat-Su their home for over 4 decades.
Bad Gramm3r intended to open for the public in the summer of 2016 until the Mat-Su Borough imposed a moratorium that prevented marijuana related facilities from becoming operational until Proposition B1 had been voted on in October of 2016. Proposition B1 asked voters if they wanted to ban all marijuana related facilities from operating within the Mat-Su Borough.
Many people played an integral role in the campaign to end the prohibition of marijuana facilities in the Mat-Su Borough.
There were many individuals and organizations that got involved in the campaign efforts. Although we cannot list them all, here’s a list of organizations and individuals who played integral roles in this landslide victory.
