Flower or Concentrate?

Glass Can Break
Most people who have been smoking for a while have lost a glass piece or two somewhere along the way. It’s always sad when that happens, so here are a few things you can keep in mind to reduce your chances of breaking a water pipe:
- Choose your material. While some pipes are made out of more durable materials, most of the best bongs come in glass. Even so, some are more durable than others. Choose a durable glass bong if this is a big concern for you. If you are more apt to be smoking in your garage, or taking it with you camping, you might want to seek out a silicone bong.
- Store your bong with care. Don’t leave your bong on the coffee table, floor, or anywhere else where it could easily get knocked over. If you want to keep your bong on display so you can show it off, find a place where it will be out of harm’s way. Otherwise, it may be useful to get a case for your bong.
- You can save a lot of downstems and bowls by disassembling the bong before you put it away. If you’re putting your glass water pipe in a case, separate all of the pieces first so they can be stored separately to prevent them from getting jostled against each other.
- Clean your bong carefully, and do it often. Using a product such as Formula 420 or even a solution of isopropyl alcohol that is 70% or higher with some salt will cut the scum.

Straight Tubes

The difference between a dab rig and a bong isn’t very significant. A dab rig will be shaped just like a bong, but the difference is that there’s a banger or dab nail instead of a bowl for dry herb.
