Thanksgiving Dinner Donations
This yearly event is all about making sure our community members can enjoy a pleasant holiday. We have so much to be thankful for, and none of it is more important to us than our relationship with our neighbors.
The Great Turkey Fest
Along with one other retail shop and cultivation, we provided 30 full turkey dinners this year. These dinners include pie, rolls, stuffing – the works! We’re proud of what we were able to achieve this year, but we’re never satisfied and always believe we can do more. Next year we’re shooting for 100 meals!
The Special Santa Program
The Mat-Su Special Santa Program has been serving the Valley since 1997 by bringing the magic of Christmas to children and families in need in the Matanuska-Susitna Valley. They take donations and organize several events leading up to Christmas. The events help gather funds for the program and also create fun experiences for families in the area. Our angel trees allow customers to sponsor a child in need with gifts for Christmas.

We helped fund a park behind our store, giving our local subdivision residents a public space to enjoy. - We’re sponsors of the Annual Big M benefit hosted by MugShot Saloon. This event is an all-day fundraiser in honor of Marilyn Anderson, who spent so much of her life helping neighbors in need. She was a friend to all and a terrific role model for the impact we can all aspire to have on this community.
