Last year, with the help of a few other cannabis businesses, and the wonderful donations from Carrs Safeway, Bad Gramm3r was able to distribute 30 turkeys, pies, and all the fixings to families in need throughout the Mat-Su Valley. We placed sign-up points at all three retail locations and asked customers to write down the name and number of anyone they knew that year that would benefit from a free Thanksgiving dinner. The jars filled fast with names, and we easily found homes for all those birds!

What came next was the truly magical part; some of the recipients were in tears and stated that they wouldn’t have had a Thanksgiving at all if it wasn’t for this charitable donation. The feeling we received from being able to reach out and help people that needed help was amazing!

However, one thought has lingered in our minds for the last year. What about the rest of the names in the jars? There are still people in need, we decided to ramp up our efforts. This year we have reached out to the cannabis community again with more time to plan and prepare. Our goal this year was 100 turkeys and dinners to anyone who may go without this year and with the help of several cannabis businesses that goal has been reached! KNLT (95.5 The Pass) has gotten involved as well and offered air time, so that we can truly spread our message of giving thanks this Holiday Season!
